How I Cast a 3D Model to Maintain the Handmade Feel
In the media shown above I made a 1.5 carat solitaire ring completely by hand and the same ring again using a 3D modeling software.
Note how the separation of pieces in the CAD model allows every surface to be beautifully polished before assembly, making this ring almost indistinguishable from a handmade ring.
